Ukraine’s Wineries Endure During War

Wine Spectator publishes a major feature on Ukrainian wineries during the war, with Beykush occupying a central role — including photographs of the winery’s amphora winemaking operation. The article documents the remarkable growth of Beykush’s exports from 0% to 40% of total production, driven by international interest that emerged against the backdrop of the war. Svitlana Tsybak is quoted: “Wine can play a very important role — it is a tool to communicate that we stay strong.” The feature in the leading American wine publication marked an important milestone in positioning Beykush in the US market and underscored the role of Ukrainian wine as a cultural ambassador for the country.
