Ukraine: A wine odyssey

Decanter publishes a major feature on Ukraine’s wine industry timed to the second anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion. Beykush is highlighted as one of five key Ukrainian producers: a 14-hectare family estate located just 2 km from occupied territory on the Beykush peninsula by the Black Sea. The article notes that CEO Svitlana Tsybak represents the winery internationally, and that Beykush works with French, Italian and Georgian clones as well as the rare Telti-Kuruk variety. The author describes a broad stylistic range, from traditional-method sparkling wines to amphora-aged whites, each expressing the character of this distinctive terroir.
