Ukraine May Lose Imported Wines — Will Local Winemakers Seize the Moment?

Forbes Ukraine publishes an analytical piece on the wine market during wartime, in which Beykush is one of the central subjects. CEO Svitlana Tsybak provides extensive commentary: on the impact of lifting duties on EU imported wines, plans to expand vineyards by 40% to 15 hectares, a strategy to export 50% of production, and already completed shipments to Poland, Estonia, Japan and the UK, with plans to enter the US market. Tsybak explains the advantages of small wineries — hand harvesting, organic fertilisers, the freedom to experiment — and expresses confidence that without cheap imports, Ukrainian producers will be able to increase their shelf presence. Beykush is also named among the main competitors in the premium segment alongside Kolonist, Stakhovsky and Shabo Reserve.
